A collection of glands that secrete chemicals directly into the bloodstream. These chemicals are called hormones and some of those are: cortisol, aldosterone, adrenaline, noraadrenaline, testosterone, oestrogen, oxytocin and dopamine. The main endocrine glands include pituitary, pineal and hypothalamus, thyroid, pancreas, adrenal, testis and ovaries.
