Enter our 50/50 Cash Draw and be in with the chance of winning a cash prize every month!

Each month you could win a cash prize with our 50/50 Cash Draw. The more entries we receive, the bigger the prize pot.

50% of the money received from entries will go to one lucky winner and the remaining 50% will go towards our vital work for people affected by leukodystrophy.

Play from just £1 per month by paying £12 to purchase one entry each month for 12 months.

Alternatively, you can pay monthly at a minimum of £2 per month.

You can have as many numbers as you like.

Please note, we cannot except credit card payments due to gambling regulations. Please only pay with a debit card. Alternatively, if you would prefer to pay by Standing Order, please get in touch to request our bank details.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Participation in this lottery is open to supporters of Alex, The Leukodystrophy Charity (Alex TLC) (Including Alex TLC Board Members, Staff and Volunteers)
  2. Participants must be 18 years or older and resident in the UK.
  3.  Our preferred payment method is annual payment of £12 per entry. However, monthly payments can be made at a minimum of 2 entries / £2 per month.
  4. Payment can be made via our website or by setting up a Standing Order with your bank – please contact us for our bank details
  5. Annual entries can be purchased as gifts, but these terms & conditions must be adhered to by the person purchasing the subscription, and by the recipient.
  6. Payment must not be made via credit card due to gambling regulations.
  7. Each entry will be assigned a number manually in sequential order, and this will be emailed to the participant by a member of Alex TLC Staff. As this is not an automated process, please allow 72 hours, longer during weekends and busy periods.
  8. The winning number will be generated using randomiser software on the first Tuesday of each month. The draw will be witnessed by two members of Alex TLC Staff.
  9. If the draw is to be delayed for any reason, participants will be notified by email.
  10. To guarantee entry into the next draw, your payment must be received by the 25th of the month. For example, if we receive your payment on 25thJune, you will be entered into the July draw. However, if we receive your payment on 30th June, your first draw might not be until August.
  11. A record of names and numbers will be kept by Alex TLC, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations and Alex TLC’s Privacy Policy.
  12. The prize fund will be 50% of the total number of paid entries and will be distributed to one winner each month by bank transfer.
  13.  The Prize fund is dependent on the number of paid entries and therefore may fluctuate each month.
  14.  The prize winner will be informed as soon as possible after the draw by email and telephone.
  15.  Alex TLC will make all reasonable efforts to award prizes to holders of winning numbers. If the prize winner does not make contact to claim their prize within 3 months of the draw date, Alex TLC reserves the rights to claim the winnings as a donation.
  16.  No liability is accepted for the loss, theft or delayed receipt of any communication.
  17.  A list of winning numbers will be displayed on Alex TLC’s website.
  18.  If paying monthly, it is possible to withdraw at any time, simply cancel your recurring payment and inform Alex TLC.
  19. Alex TLC will not be responsible for any bank charges incurred by participants in the administration of their Standing Order. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure they have sufficient funds available when payment is due.
  20. If your payment fails and you do not make contact with Alex TLC, your entry will be cancelled, and your number allocated to someone else.
  21. Alex TLC may (without giving any reason or notice at its absolute discretion) decline to accept an application, cancel an existing subscription, or terminate or suspend the monthly 50/50 Cash draw.
