We have provided practical information for those who are living with a leukodystrophy. The information on these pages is generic and not condition specific.
This includes symptoms and their management, services and equipment, useful links and available treatments.
We are here to support you and your family throughout your leukodystrophy journey. There are various forms of support available to ensure there are options available to support your needs.
We offer one to one forms of support, including counselling, and the option of gaining support from our community members by utilising our Peer Support Programme.
Our Community consists of individuals affected by leukodystrophy and their family members. Our events provide an opportunity to meet other community members which are both virtual and in person.
You can also read about some of our community members by visiting our Personal Stories page.
A new diagnosis can be overwhelming as it brings unique challenges and adjustments, but it is important to remember that you are not alone.
