Day Centres

It can be very difficult to access good day services for adults with complex needs, most of the adult day provisions are aimed at those with learning difficulties or older people. Day services do exist for those who are most severely disabled; you may have to travel further or in some cases your own carer may accompany you to a local day service. Sense, the deaf/blind charity have colleges and day centres which offer specialist support to those who are dual sensory impaired and who also have other disabilities.
