Our new Research Volunteers

Introducing two new members of our team

We produce monthly research summaries which contain a brief overview of recent leukodystrophy research articles. Our Research Volunteers are responsible for summarising the articles included in our research summaries. Our summaries allow our community to read about relevant recent studies and clinical trials in a format that is easily understood.

We are pleased to introduce our two new research volunteers:

Mia

Hello, I am Mia, an enthusiastic Biomedical Science graduate with a passion for cancer research and clinical immunology. Through my degree, I have honed my laboratory and writing skills and am thrilled to be working with Alex TLC as a research summary contributor and distilling pertinent information from key research papers and articles. In my spare time, I love reading books across many genres, taking leisurely strolls in surrounding nature, nurturing a passion for gardening and working on my very own novel! I look forward to learning more about Alex TLC and connecting with you all through upcoming newsletters!

Jess

Hi.  I’m Jess and I am a third year biomedical science student at Anglia Ruskin University. I am interested researching about genetic disorders such as leukodystrophy and so I am very excited to be working alongside Alex TLC to produce monthly research summaries.
