Mental Health Awareness Week

Monday 9th – Sunday 15th May 2022

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week. The theme is loneliness – raising awareness of the impact on our mental health and practical steps we can take to address it. On social media each day we have been posting about what the charity is able to do to help with anyone in our community who is feeling lonely. Monday

Tuesday

Wednesday

This week is #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek Loneliness can affect our mental wellbeing and make us feel disconnected from others. It can helpful to talk to someone about how you’re feeling. We offer Counselling Grants through our Grant Programme. For more information info@alextlc.org

Thursday

This week is #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek There are practical steps we can take to address loneliness. including connecting with others. Our socials allow our community to be involved in conversations about different topics. Get involved the discussions💬

Friday

This week is #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek If you are ever feeling lonely, we have an online community you can be part of. To chat to other people in a similar situation to yourself and get involved in topic based discussions. We can only make progress on loneliness together 💙

Saturday 

This week is #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek Would you like to be put in contact with others who have the same condition or similar symptoms? Then please let us know 📩 The families we support have said that peer support is invaluable in helping them to cope and feel less isolated 💙

Sunday

This week is #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek Our Support Services Team are able to provide a range of support and can also be a listening ear if you need someone to talk to. Please do reach out to us if you are feeling lonely and need some support….we are here for you 💙
