Helping to raise awareness of ALD and adrenal insufficiency
Our Support Services Manager, Karen, and Research Analyst, Kristina, are attending the Society for Endocrinology BES Conference from today to Wednesday. They are hoping to raise awareness of the link between ALD and adrenal insufficiency. SfE BES is the annual conference of the Society for Endocrinology, bringing together the best of basic science, translational research, clinical investigation and clinical practice.

Last year we collaborated with researchers from Sheffield Hallam University to conduct a research study called ‘The experiences of parents of children diagnosed with cerebral adrenoleukodystrophy’.
