Study Summary of Findings

Alex TLC supported Cardiff University School of Medicine to conduct research into people’s experiences of family communication following adrenoleukodystrophy diagnosis. The research was being led by Jonathan Wells, MSc Student in Genetic and Genomic Counselling at Cardiff University. Ultimately, the research project sought to build an evidence base so that genetic counsellors are well placed to support families with communication following a diagnosis of adrenoleukodystrophy or adrenomyeloneuropathy.
